  1. Absolutely, good thing we have a VAR
  2. So, after all it's simply the expected champion. Congrats to the US for doing what they were supposed to do and to the Dutch players for doing something beyond 'extra'.
  3. This is sort of the opposite of what they said, as in, unrealistically positive

  8. Yeah I really don't think Sagan has any reason to complain about his list of successes. At all
  9. I'd still have hope to avoid a Thailand slaughter
  10. Right. There are some more painful ones though Sean Kelly: 17 third places, 21 second places...5 stage wins Stan Ockers: 18 third places, 16 second places...3 stage wins
  11. Well, a relatively easy USA win is to be expected anyway, anything else - let alone the Dutch actually winning - would surprise me. That's good, it can't be really disappointing, it can only be really cool or kinda neutral
  12. Because I'm pretty sure they just look at the start lists and see how many riders are in there who were ever caught I'm sure you understand this is not a list of 'how many cyclists tested positive during the Tour de France in year XXX'
  13. No, if he had won all 22 stages in which he finished 2nd, he'd now be one stage behind the Cannibal, the all-time record holder He is 23rd in most stage top-10's by the way, for what it's worth https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/tour-de-france/2019/gc/history/most-stage-top10s
  14. Nothing bummer about it, first Dutch yellow jersey in 30 years and by one of the least expected people
  15. To be fair, that match was just absolutely awful. Half the balls seemed like someone dropped it in a pinball machine and there was a 50/50 chance it'd end up on Dutch or Swedish feet after 20 seconds. Completely random most of the time, that was just painful to watch. Not to say I disagree about your BBC opinion by the way Their athletics coverage, ugh.
  16. In the past one and a half year he has beaten every top sprinter except for Viviani if I'm not mistaken (which makes sense considering they don't sprint against each other as teammates of course) Jakobsen and Ackermann have been the two main up and coming guys of the past one and a half year in sprinting
  17. Is this a joke I'm not getting?
  18. Hello Noah Lyles, holy ***
  19. Let's hope not
  20. I'd already be happier if the single mixed relay would be changed (in name only) to sprint relay
  21. Awesome debut indeed, although one question arises: is this going to count for Slovakia's Diamond League statistics? Because you know, technically she didn't compete in the Diamond League yet
  22. 49.19 (first sub-50) and another huge NR (coming from 50.24) for Aminatou Seyni Second behind Naser though, good for my Fantasy Diamond Race
