  1. I wish our TV had such a good reason to show SB too
  2. I understand )) It is a shame that these reallocations in FIS disciplines may happen too late. As far as I know FIL had consultations wirth the IOC and quickly removed 3 incorrect AIN`s after that. I do not know if FIS did the same but it looks like they did not. Since we see a lot of AIN statuses for people who do not meet the requirements. Thus some reallocations may come only after the AINERP review. I can say nothing on Zueva right now. She is not cleared by the IOC yet, by the way. But Belorussians (or at least rrepresenting Belarus now) behave lin different way. Russians on the other hand prefer to show loyoalty to the regime since it provide them with substential benefits and positions in local administrations and parliaments.
  3. I would say it highly depends on the traditions of some disciplines in certain countries. Our national sport TV boradcated Aerials live last season. Czech Reuplic has it in the prime-time of its national sports channel as far as I know. Yes Valenta won his gold more then 20 years ago but it does not matter.
  4. Right now she is cleared by the IOC despite using sanctioned sponsor`s support. The list shows potential reallocations.
  5. Russian national team had 5 training groups that year. Only one of these groups had a training camp at the occupied territories. This was a group of Nepryaeva. Athletes could chose a group and switch between them. I do not see any reason for her to avoid the resposibility (both from the sports perspective and legal point of view): - adult; - violated the rules of crossing the border; - was not under the order; - could switch training groups; - there were alternative groups of the national tram to train with and not violate the rules; - getting illegal advantage over other (Ukrainian) athletes; - using stolen training facilities.
  7. As we are approaching the end of qualification period I have updated the list of AIN`s and possible reallocations. 1. Right now there are 13 russian and 5 belorussian athletes with Olympic quotas. Luge quotas are under investigation + next WC is needed for proper number of runs. Freestyle, cross-country and alpne sking are not formally awarded by FIS yet. But it is a formality. 2. 5 russian and 1 belorussian atheletes got inviatations from the IOC. 3. The list is not final. Belorussians may get Aerials quotas via reallocations. Russians may get something in other FIS disciplines - but it would not be easy even with the reallocations. 4. A lot of controversial persons (like Tatalina, Perestoronin) failed to qualify (Tatalina may have some chances during the reallocation). A lot of athletes did not get AIN status due to different reasons like problens with anti-doping rules and affiliation with military. That`s why I do not expect a lot of reallocations this time. But AIN statuses by some athletes like Dariya NEPRYAEVA will be surely challenged.
  8. Wow. it is really a big risk. We faced with this in Beijing when by the day of the start we had no enogh athletes out of the COVID quarantine. And if it is possible to stay with 1 quota only for W Aerials? As far as I can understand the normal license limit for NOC is 30 but is rised to 32 only for the NOCs qualified aerials team.
  10. I do not understand why they did not give a W quota to to create a team. But maybe this quota will be allocated after the official rejection of both quotas.
