  1. by the way, the downhill of the women's alpine combined is already postponed to 11.30 a.m. I fear it's gonna be a complicated day in Are...
  2. just talked too early...both the Danish portal and karateworld.tv cover the same Tatami (no.3), which probably isn't even the main one...
  3. Europe’s future stars to clash for continental crown in Denmark Over 1000 young karatekas from 51 European countries are gathering this weekend in Aalborg (Denmark) to clash for the underage continental crown. The 2019 EKF Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships will be held in Aalborg from February 8 to 10. The event will be available to a worldwide viewing audience LIVE and FREE on karateworld.tv. Karate fans have the opportunity to watch the future heroes of European Karate in action at the anticipated underage continental championships. With 1092 young athletes from 51 countries registered to participate, the event continues the increasing popularity of Karate competitions all over the world. The previous underage European continental championships which were held last year in Sochi (Russia) registered 989 participants from 45 nations. The 2019 EKF Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships will also be the stage where the powerhouses of the sport evaluate the authority of their grass-root programmes. Last year in Sochi Italy topped the medal table with a tally of 15 medals including five golds. Giuseppe Panagia in U21 Male Kata, Christian Ferrara in Junior Male Kumite +76kg and Mirko Barreca in Junior Male Kata were among the top karatekas taking Italy to the top of the podium. Host of Russia with 14 medals, and Spain with seven medals also registered impressive performances in Sochi. Kristina Kozerenko in Junior Female Kumite -48kg and Daria Khodova in Junior Female Kumite -53kg were the leaders of the Russian success at home while Lidia Rodriguez Encabo in U21 Female Kata and Nadia Gomez Morales in U21 Female Kumite -50kg were among the top competitors of the Spanish delegation. The competition in Aalborg starts on Friday, February 8 at 09:00 (local time) with the Kata categories. The tournament will be streamed LIVE and FREE on karateworld.tv. Go to karateworld.tv to catch all the action from Aalborg.
  4. imho, that's the best way to lose also those very few super-hardcore fans... personally, I might be one of those, but money doesn't grow up in the trees of my garden...so, I won't give them a cent in any case... good that at least 1 tatami (maybe even 2, if the karateworld.tv stream covers a different one than the Danish portal) is still free to watch...
  5. it will never happen... it was the rule until 2013, then they started this unified world championship for FS and SB in 2015 and since then FIS have always said they so happy about the outcomes of this decision... it gives a lot more visibility to both disciplines = a lot more money from TV networks and sponsors... and you perfectly know that money moves the world...so, don't expect FIS to give up to this kind of events (actually, I expect them to try and get a super-world championship with most of their events all together...sooner or later)...
  6. and in fact yesterday I wrote that's the sad truth, unfortunately... it's not that point that makes me lose any respect for Kasper...it's all the rest (said and unsaid, but clearly understandable "between the lines")...
  7. I guess you quoted the wrong post... even if I don't like this kind of arrogance shown by NBC, I never wrote that's a problem to me... for the Olympic games, I'm taking 2+ weeks off since Barcelona 1992...and it's not gonna change this time, too...
  8. sorry, but I just can't feel any sympathy for a Nazi-man nor for an idiot that's negating the global warming and the glaciers' restriction (but someone must read the articles to understand what kinda man Kasper is -what kinda disaster he is as the FIS president, instead, we all see every given day)...
  9. Swimming, Freestyle BMX & Skateboarding already have been scheduled according to NBC's desires (at about 10 /10.30 a.m. Tokyo time)... Athletics being next is no surprise... the only sport the Japanese guys have put total veto on is Gymnastics...that will stay in the Japanese prime time (6/7 p.m. local time)...
  10. actually, she has taken even topless photos in the past...she's never had any problem to write about personal things nor showing her body on her social profiles... p.s. she's gone down face-first, but for sure she also hit her bottom hard...
  11. OK, it's obvious that you like winning easy with that...
  12. naaa...trust me, that's Lindsey's bottom... look at this pictures and tell me that the girl smiling in the "original one" is not Laurenne Ross... https://www.instagram.com/p/BsThsOABUQQ/ https://www.instagram.com/p/BtT1lZXhWZE/
  13. let's say it for the "long" sprinters...I don't think a pure 500m specialist can survive the second lap... however, it's the entire race that doesn't have a lot of sense to me (p.s. don't tell me of the track cycling Team Sprint event)...
  14. naaa...I'm only pointing out that he must be a Nazi in the deep of his soul... but unfortunately, to be honest, he's saying the (sad) truth, especially nowadays, when it looks that all the popular enthusiasm and participation of the normal people to the Olympic Games has gone... p.s. in the other post, it's quite clear that we're looking at Vonn's bottom (and Ross smile)...
  15. please, can someone explain to me the sense of the so-called Team Sprint? (which basically has nothing to do with real sprint performances, except for the first lap/skater) meanwhile, looking at the more traditional races, I'm very disappointed by today's performance by Francesca Lollobrigida...she started definitely too quick and she was already dead after 3 laps... she did show a lot of progress in the "classic" distances this year, but once again she missed out when it mattered most... among the boys, pretty average result for the Italian team...more or less it all went according to the preview...maybe Ghiotto was even a bit better than expected...let's see if he can get something big in "his" 10000m...
  16. quite interesting match between Russia and Finland... the Finns tied the game (2-2) with only 9 seconds left on the clock (and the goalie on the bench, of course)... then, after a scoreless OT, it all went on to the penalty shooutout, where good 18 shots were required to find a winner... at the end of the day it was Russia to take the victory home, with Kagarlitskiy scoring 3 times in the PSO (Russia scored 4 out of 9 PS, meanwhile FIN "only" 3, 2 of them thanks to Oliver Kaski)... in the other EHT game, instead, Jan Kovar scored a hattrick in the regulation, leading Czech Republic to an amazing 5-2 road win against Sweden... in the end, it was a nice hockey day...
  17. in the meantime, FIS President Gianfranco Kasper shows his real nature... https://www.thelocal.ch/20190206/swiss-ski-chief-kasper-olympics-are-easier-in-dictatorships https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1075192/kasper-causes-controversy-after-claiming-easier-for-ioc-to-organise-olympic-games-in-dictatorships
  18. Lindsey... https://www.instagram.com/p/BtiplF0nM8_/
  19. Agree at 101%... but I think it's up to that Danish website rather than to the EKF (it shouldn't be an official streaming from the European federation, but a local thing only)... not that it changes anything, but still...
  20. you can always open her Instagram page... https://www.instagram.com/kellysildaru/
