The more interesting news are that 3-time European champion Biliyana Dudova won't be competing after her suicide attempt in may. After what happened, it's for the best, that our coaches are holding her back until the qualifying tournaments next year. On the flipside, after a long absence in GR are returning former World Champion Ivo Angelov and European Champion Tarek Abdelslam. GR: 60 kg - Ivo Angelov 63 kg - Rumen Savchev 67 kg - David Dimitrov 72 kg - Aik Mnatskanian 77 kg - Daniel Aleksandrov 87 kg - Tarek Abdelslam 97 kg - Kiril Milov 130 kg - Miloslav Metodiev In the Olympic weights, if we get 3 out of 6, it would be good, even though 5 out 6 have a chance (without Dimitrov). Realistically Milov and Aleksandrov are the ones for me, who have the best shot, because i don't know in what condition are Angelov and Abdelslam. Metodiev depends on the draw, since he will lose to the big names, but can beat the ones, who are not that experienced. On the women's side, like i said, sadly there is no Dudova. Also Olympic-silver medalist Elitsa Yankova is missing again and pretty much think her career is over by now. 50 kg - Miglena Selishka 53 kg - Evelina Nikolova 57 kg - Mimi Hristova 62 kg - Taybe Yusein 65 kg - Yuliana Yaneva 68 kg - Sofiya Georgieva 76 kg - Mariya Oryashkova I'm the most optimistic about this team and 4 out 6 (50 to 62) is going to be amazing, but again, depends on the draws for everyone not named Taybe Yusein. No chance for 68 /76. Haven't found anything about our freestyle team, so can't say much.

Everyone is gunning for those Olympic quotas, so expect dirty stuff happening on and off the mat.

Don't know how their seeding system works (if there is a reason at all given it's AIBA), but i've seen in at least 2 categories boxers from the Dominican republic, also Jordan, Japan, Ivory Coast, even Slovakia being seeded ( )

We are with 6 boxers and i'm not expecting anything good to be honest. Daniel Asenov will once again be our hope for a good performance.

What a terrible loss

Is the US with their 10th team They could have sent their college kids for the laughs just as well. By the way, i'm not a big basketball fan as a whole and i'm not paying that much attention to the Cup. This first group stage looks like a one big chore. It doesn't feel like THE WORLD CUP, only every 4 years, the best players, dunkers etc. 32 teams is too much for basketball. I know, i know, like everything they want to make it a big global thing. If they insisted on 32, they could have done with a few more european teams i reckon, to feel a bit more, umm, relevant. If you don't count the US, there are going to be hardly any european loses to a non-european teams.

I have said it for a decade that Bolt is dirty and they protected him for money and success it brought to the sport. One day things will come clean.

Every Euro Champ in all sports (bar mens football) should be with 16 teams period.. Stop bloathing the competitions for some minor benefits, which are not even visible. Poor games, poor attendance, 70% irrelevant matches. And they want bigger interest..

It doesn't matter if we have one Sokolov, or four Sokolovs.. The results will be the same. There will always be something that comes up. And in this match, there were two better players than him, at least for me.

Nothing will happen in january, better look for someone else.
