  1. I was speaking for myself
  2. Europe loses another record. Bummer.. Those high jump legs did the job finally. Now i'm sure she is going for the Long Jump as well.
  3. The paradox now, if both Barshim and Tamberi fail at 2.39, the rulebook says it has to be a jump-off. But both can make an agreement not to do it and they can't force them.
  4. Warholm undefeated streak from 2019 continues Tamberiiii
  5. Barshin looks in his best form from 5-6 years ago. Definitely can make over 2.40
  6. Woo Korea in the high jump Now i've seen it all. An exceptional final, everyone is passing 2.35 now.
  7. I was thinking that If he is doing this on pure talent, how much can he do, if he actually did it the proper way.
  8. I don't know how Harrison is managing these heights with his awful technique..
  9. Tamberi with a great start so far, not letting anyone slip away.
  10. Don't worry things will pick up, it's only day one and there are no finals. And i'm not home and didn't watch todays sessions. Japan are not winning every womens weight, after Foken made the final. It looks like wrestling won't be judo for them, even though they have a finalist in the mens GR. And as i suspected not a very good day for Europe. I don't know, if it's the time-zone, the conditions, but Europe have been struggling in other sports as well. I'm surprised (and slightly worried) that @MHSN has not made his expert analysis on the draws and the Iranian performance? Two potential BG - Iran matches tomorrow . As a matter if fact, he has been very quiet this whole Olympics?
  11. Same. And they were saying conditions in Tokyo were unfavorable
  12. Soooo many delays today
  13. Damn, Stoyka Krasteva won a medal. Definitely did not expect this in boxing, given how it usually goes. Guess the outsourcing firm that organises the tournament is doing a good job. Haven't seen many clear robberies or scandals so far, especially after what we got in 08, 12 and 16. PS. Our commentator sayed that he has a good inside info, that boxing ? will be dropped for Paris 24 and it would be announced a few months after Tokyo. Don't know how credible this is, but like i said this firm is doing a good job with the main tournament, so let's see, if this can have a positive effect.
  14. Aaaa, that is a shame, i was anticipating this match.
  15. This Finke guy ruined my prediction of the US not passing 10 golds They saved face by the end, it won't be a total disaster.
  16. As few as they are, there are still some specialists that only do 200 m. I think, if we are cutting it should be freestyle.
  17. Another Phelps world record broken This was finally the proper US swimming from past Olympics.
  18. And now the relay the US have never lost, ever!
  19. The 3 new events were unnecessary imo. The rest have a tradition, so i don't know what could be cut theoretically.
  20. Does Emma McKeon have as much medals as Phelps
  21. The final sprints from this guy lol.
  22. Is this the best performance Australia has ever had?
  23. I am actually very surprised in myself, as i haven't felt tired all week. I am sleeping 4-6 hours and still staying fairly late in the evening.
  24. Yeah, i had my doubts about Eurosport Player, but it turned out it is excellent. If you take out that first day, which had no commentary of course.
  25. Always have a man in the breaststroke. This is an unwritten rule. It is the slowest style and most time can be won/lost there.
