  1. Pre Munich 1972 would be hard I guess? I believe those unused film rolls were thrown away after making the official film? I honestly also can't understand that too. Both FIFA and IOC actually tried to replay old videos nowadays but they arent old enough
  2. From what I observed, they only claimed copyright from Olympic Channel broadcast maybe because it included their commentator. Those from Belarus TV or Channel one Russia (Russian or no commentary) stays intact. A bit sad as nowadays multisport event videos at Youtube is decreasing, they claimed copyright here and there but refuse to reupload the events by themselves (yet keep concerning the lower interest)
  3. Because of the symbol with the red stripe, at first I read "Regione Campania" as "Begone Campania"
  4. Sochi actually has a better chance to made it emotional again but I think they just scrapped it. I still remember they created the Sochi version of Do Svidanya Moskva (but I hated it when Alsou sang it)
  5. You can try opening Channel One Russia's Odnoklassiki with Hola, they have the whole broadcasted sessions. I reuploaded badminton finals from there to YouTube. (Olympic Channel is threatening copyright strike for those who reuploaded screen recordings from their website, for example the opening video is down)
  6. Just watched the closing, I thought they wanted to imitate Misha in Moscow 1980 but Lesik just standing there and staring lol
  7. I have to say despite the Games really lacking both in interest and programmes to other continental Games, it is still enjoyable. At least I still say that it is enjoyable than the Islamic Solidarity Games, for example. When watching other sports like shooting, wrestling, or cycling during the absence of badminton broadcast, I can feel the competition. For example, watching the men's points race managed to calm my anger when the Olympic Channel decided to not broadcast badminton Hopefully Krakow will be bigger and better.
  8. Happy for the Dutch ladies But still no broadcast
  9. Hell, I am tortured in these last days of the Games. Not even a single TV in Europe broadcasting the badminton final
  10. *Buenos Aires 2018 submitted its homework* Napoli 2019: Can I copy your homework? BA 2018: Yeah just change it a little bit so it won't be obvious *Napoli 2019 cut the top diagonally* Lima 2019: Can I copy your homework? BA 2018: Yeah just change it a little bit so it won't be obvious Lima 2019: Who cares, the year is different, it won't be the same...
  11. Lol the cycling commentator gasped for air after he screamed "VOLIKAKISSSSSSS"
  12. As usual badminton must make way to other sports in Olympic Channel
  13. Ireland guaranteed at least bronze in badminton
  14. Unfortunately "a successful Games (or Championships)" must include the host's success too. I remembered after Euro 2008 and 2012 our media created the slogan "UEFA Euro: Hosted by Losers"
  15. Any badminton stream? Since Channel 4 of OC is showing shooting before they continue badminton QF....
  16. Well that's archery... In compound match: "If only it used recurve scoring" In recurve match: "If only it used compound scoring"
  17. The music guy at the archery venue really having fun with his job. Playing Eurovision songs, and then 'It's Raining Men' when the rain is heavier
  18. And the protest managed to boot van den Berg from the competition after failing the shoot-off
  19. Unfortunately it's the propaganda that stuck in people's head About 80% of educated young voters from the recent election don't know what "Regional Representative Council" (the upper house of the parliament) is despite it is repeated in all 3 stages of school (primary, junior high, and high school). Some even leave the ballot paper intact because the whole focus is the presidential race
  20. In Indonesia anthem and flags are also a revered subject. There is a subject at school that if literally translated became "Citizenship Studies", where you study the government system, how the parliament works, citizenship laws, dissecting the constitution, and some sprinkle of indoctrination about anti-communism etc. I have to say this is quite successful in shaping average Indonesians way of thinking and their thought about national symbols, resulting in often overproud sentiment (and refusal to stand when asked to stand for other countries' anthem while singing our own anthem like mad). Back at high school, my "Citizenship Studies" teacher is a perfect model of "making a really big deal of anthems and flags". She criticized the Jehovah Witnesses in our school, getting mad if she caught someone singing the anthem wrong, angry because during a flag hoisting ceremony there is a few centimeters gap left at the pole (not "fully hoisted"). Guess she can be famous in the US
  21. The other 3 medalists' face at the medal ceremony looked like they're going to stab Amiraslanov later this day...
