  1. Never been to any Olympics but you can spare some time to visit the hospitality houses by some NOCs. During the Asian Games/Para Games, I enjoyed the Korea House with their cultural activities, games, food etc. There is also the North Korean one but sadly I missed that one.
  2. My first impression was: "patterned sanitary pad" and now I'm struggling to remove that thought from my mind
  3. In Indonesia, we'll say "digital footprints are cruel" to this situation
  4. In the end, Denmark won. But the silver is still historical (the Serbian coach still celebrate). Anyway only two teams managed to steal a tie point from Denmark: Serbia and Poland
  5. Yea the injury yesterday was unfortunate. But hey, don't surrender before the fight
  6. Easy. 1952-1984 won't count because we're busy building sports and boycotting this and that. Best: Barcelona 1992, we won two golds. Worst: London 2012, not even a single medal in badminton, became part of a scandal instead.
  7. Ah cases... the main challenge for me in learning European languages
  8. Ah yes, this is also the "reason" if you ask this in Indonesia. Even in private owned schools they still use uniforms, with some even use the exact same design as the state-owned ones. Certain Christian schools even have their official vest since students are not allowed to wear jackets/sweaters/hoodies. Some schools even have official shoes (including my school but later abolished), I don't know whether it happens in other countries or not..
  9. And they went to the finals! Tomorrow is the real test... facing Denmark in the final
  10. Yes it is
  11. I think this is the first time Serbia will have a team event medal in badminton? @DaniSRB
  12. The ban on Kuwaiti NOC was done first, the refusal of letting Israeli in the shooting championships later led to the removal of Olympic qualifying tournament status of that championship.
  13. Haha just an Asian thing, every factors that prevent student from getting maximal grades must be eliminated.Otherwise the seats will remain permanent unless you have eyesight problems. But I rarely sat in front despite wearing glasses during my school years, because of my height...
  14. In our country, we don't do that. But, there is a current habit that is more bizarre... Parents nailed or taped their kids' schoolbags to book the front seats (because sitting at the back > can't see/listen clearly > stupid) at dawn of first day school... It used to be parents rushing their half-asleep kids at dawn to book a seat in class. this only happen in state-owned schools. We usually gave flowers or presents to teachers at Teacher's Day (Nov 25), btw.
  15. I was talking about the countries. The athletes, I believe, will be readily accommodated by the neutral flag policy. Unless they got locked up by the secret police or have their passports revoked, that's another story.
  16. No one will really miss them anyway
  17. Well... I've read countless line about "winning a silver/bronze medal"
  18. Apparently this World Cup generated quite an interest in Indonesia because.... we have an Indonesian referee
  19. And Nigeria crumbles... what a pity
  20. You can try livetv.sx/enx/allupcomingsports/3/
  21. Lol, the Chinese organizers used blackface in the opening
  22. There has been a push to include Tchoukball as a demonstration sport in SEA Games, but unfortunately they failed in 2019.
