  1. So today there is a big incident in China Open: During the WD match between Japan's Matsutomo/Takahashi and China's Huang/Li, the umpire (which was also Chinese) denied a challenge even after the Japanese raised their hands immediately after it landed (and called "out"; which means Chinese players tied the match after winning 22-20 in the 2nd game). It sparked out complaints from Japanese players and coaches but the umpire ignored them, citing it is too late to use the Instant Review. Umpire from the same country with players, BWF certainly needs to fix this issue... Not long after that, another Chinese umpire also created problem because she couldn't communicate well with the English pairs (who complained a few times during the match). Man, this is a Superseries Premier !! Btw, Denamrk's TV2 wrote this in their page " Det behøver ikke at være sværere at stoppe en brokr** " -> What does this mean @Agger
  2. Nothing here By the way, Indonesian delegation will stay in Ibis Kaunas
  3. Maybe some of you already known about this but the 2017 Southeast Asian Games in August 2017 will also feature 3 winter sports. A good event to monitor some athletes And a bit of correction, Indonesia is sending short track speed skaters instead of speed skaters (the media was unable to differentiate short-track with normal speed skating)
  4. will send its hockey team! Well, we're debuting in Asian Winter Games in 2017. If everything goes right, we will have represetatives in Ice Hockey, Figure Skating, and Speed skating.
  5. I waited until Pennsylvanian results and then started study for exams. Funny, because I feel that this is more like an election to "f**k the world or not" than a presidential election
  6. Well, it happened after a "highly-educated" university professor distorted his comments and made it to sound like he is insulting the verses of Quran. Then everyone got provoked... Now when a few people started to point out the culprit, the mentioned professor is now playing victim
  7. If you haven't read this... http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/05/world/asia/jakarta-protest-blasphemy-ahok-indonesia.html?_r=0 I'm safe here btw
  8. Let's pray for the end of this heated arguments. We don't need bigotry, this is about uniting the nations
  9. LOL yes indeed I secretly want to use these 2 Festival songs for TISC. Looks like we need to make the FoM to a seperate contest
  10. THAILAND ลูกอม (Look Aum) / Hard Candy Cover Version by Preechaya Pongthananikorn (Originally sung by Whatcharawalee) SOUTH KOREA 산다는 건 (Sandaneun geon) - Cheer Up* Hong Jin-young It included English subtitles, so I don't need to post the translation here * The Korean title actually translates to "To live is..." - an unfinished sentence. The English title summarized the song Hong Jin-young is a Korean Trot singer. Trot is a form of Korean pop but with distinct traditional twist in it. These two songs are my "bedtime songs". I listened to these songs before I sleep (together with the Japanese song I planned to post)
  11. Oh no.. AKB 48... In Indonesia there is a "licensed group" called JKT 48, singing songs from AKB 48 in Indonesian. A few members of AKB 48 also feature in JKT 48 for some time (think about university student exchange ).
  12. Alrite, since has already chosen so I need to change my planned song. Here you go: and

(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesian_names#Naming_forms) Western names started trending in Indonesia in the 1990s.. And parents usually has the "unique" reference behind the names. For example my name, Griffin, is from English footballer Andy Griffin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Griffin). My mom found it when she was reading a sport newspaper , unaware about the mythological creature. My sister has got 3 Gabriellas in her class and all of their parents said that they are inspired from Gabriella Sabatini Oh, Andrea is also used for males here
  15. It is somehow a big controversy in Indonesia, many citing lack of excitement in the 5x11 format. It is also not uncommon for Indonesian fans to say that this is Poul Erik Hoyer's agenda to make Europeans gain more advantage in badminton.
  16. Oops my bad, forgot to update it despite already listened to the new Tunisian song.. Looks like I'll remove my playlist to avoid further confusion.
