  1. Oh no.. AKB 48... In Indonesia there is a "licensed group" called JKT 48, singing songs from AKB 48 in Indonesian. A few members of AKB 48 also feature in JKT 48 for some time (think about university student exchange ).
  2. Alrite, since has already chosen so I need to change my planned song. Here you go: and
  3. Eh? So far ABU decided that they will create a Asian Eurovision, hosted by Australia in 2017.. So what's the point?

Yudi - M Notes: M - Male, F - Female, U - Both female and male * Dian is commonly for female, but also found on male names (ex: Dian David Mickael Jacobs - Paralympic table tennis athlete) * Reza and Ade is commonly for male, but also found on female names If you ask for most common surnames, no we don't have it. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesian_names#Naming_forms) Western names started trending in Indonesia in the 1990s.. And parents usually has the "unique" reference behind the names. For example my name, Griffin, is from English footballer Andy Griffin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Griffin). My mom found it when she was reading a sport newspaper , unaware about the mythological creature. My sister has got 3 Gabriellas in her class and all of their parents said that they are inspired from Gabriella Sabatini Oh, Andrea is also used for males here
  5. It is somehow a big controversy in Indonesia, many citing lack of excitement in the 5x11 format. It is also not uncommon for Indonesian fans to say that this is Poul Erik Hoyer's agenda to make Europeans gain more advantage in badminton.
  6. Oops my bad, forgot to update it despite already listened to the new Tunisian song.. Looks like I'll remove my playlist to avoid further confusion.
  7. Thailand Open Winners Men's Singles: Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk Women's Singles: Aya Ohori Men's Doubles: Berry Angriawan/Rian Agung Saputro Women's Doubles: Puttita Supajirakul/Sapsiree Taerattanachai Mixed Doubles: Tan Kian Meng/Lai Pei Jing
  8. Have to post the votes today, because I will be very busy next 2 weeks. I have to say TISC Open is much tougher to vote, many songs I liked.. Have to apply a strict criteria here
  9. Three ABG 2014 sport migrated to Asian Games, this is quite funny. Sambo and Kurash? Amazing if you are able to find 10 people who know this sport in the streets Wushu and sepak takraw already became the core of Asian Games, hard to see them omitted in future editions (although still dominated by certain countries). Meanwhile cricket and kabaddi are rather in danger, even cricket almost dropped from the program (Indonesia reluctantly accepted it after a few negotiations and leads to the addition of cricket in our National Games to form a national team). Bridge, pencak silat, and jetski are clearly Indonesian initiatives - you know.. hosting benefits I just hoped that unpopular martial arts stay in AIMAG until they have more than 30 countries take part in it, but let's see what happen in 2018
  10. After the Japan SS finals, it is proofed that China doesn't really care about the mass-retirement of their top players
  11. Unfortunately, there is no a special pool of sports that can be contested in Asian Beach Games. They omitted many water sports but added some unrelated ones like Muay and 3x3 basketball. Those are the examples of "moving a sport to a beach and call it beach sport". I hope OCA can make a better regulation to standardize the Games.
  12. Asian Beach Games Opening is on the way in Da Nang, Vietnam. Guess who is joining the party P.S: It's a bit unfortunate for Vietnam as strong winds and rain started right after the opening sequence and the giant screen failing afterwards Watch here:http://vtv.vn/truyen-hinh-truc-tuyen/vtv1.htm
  13. SECTION 2 - ARTIST CHOICE AND ELIGIBILITY: 2. (a) Artists chosen to represent a nation must be born in or be of the same nationality as the nation for which they are participating OR they must have more or equal association with that nation. But I don't think she is "Guyanese" enough, since she also has Irish and Italian heritage. Maybe ask @Werloc for final verdict?
  14. It was a "fake" retirement, she is recovering in her hometown
  15. Chinese WS no need to worry... He Bingjiao defeated Ratchanok Intanon
  16. Did I trigger a glitch or what? Why is part of my post not displayed in the white space? Tried to edit it a few times, but nothing happened
  17. Indonesia Letto - Ruang Rindu (ENG: Longing Room) Indonesian English Di daun yang ikut mengalir lembut Terbawa sungai ke ujung mata Dan aku mulai takut terbawa cinta Menghirup rindu yang sesakkan dada Jalanku hampa dan kusentuh dia Terasa hangat oh didalam hati Kupegang erat dan kuhalangi waktu Tak urung jua kulihatnya pergi Tak pernah kuragu dan slalu kuingat Kerlingan matamu dan sentuhan hangat Ku saat itu takut mencari makna Tumbuhkan rasa yang sesakkan dada Chorus 2x: Kau datang dan pergi oh begitu saja Semua kut'rima apa adanya Mata terpejam dan hati menggumam Di ruang rindu kita bertemu Bertemu.... On the leaves which flow smoothly Carried by a river to the ends of my eyes I am getting scared being carried by love Breath in longing which suffocates me My road is empty and I touched her Feeling the warmth inside my heart I hold onto it tightly and I tried to stop the time But still I couldn't to prevent her walking away Never have I doubted and always remember Your sparkling eyes and warm touch At that time, I feared to find the meaning of These growing feels, which are suffocating me Chorus x2 You come and go so naturally, I accept the way it is I close my eyes and my heart mutters In the longing room, we would meet We would meet.... Side Note: The song is from their first album, Truth, Cry, and Lie which is released in 2006. Formed in Yogyakarta, they have released four albums so far. The vocalist, Noe, is the son of a famous poet which makes their songs really poetic and a bit hard to translate for me.
