    I mean, confusingly enough, Bandy is more like ice Field Hockey than Ice Hockey is, and Floorball is more like field Ice Hockey than Field Hockey is. (And then in Rocket League, "Soccar" is more like ice hockey than the mode where you use an actual puck >.> )

    FWIW I keep the same energy for people say that "niche" (from a NA POV) sports like ski jumping, luge, handball or field hockey should be removed from the Olympics.

    Actually this gives me the idea that a combined aerials / big air competition would be hilarious, would make later day men's alpine combined look good by comparaison.

    Also a rare case of me rooting for a athlete and them actually winning xD Last time I remember it happening at the Winter games was Bode Miller winning the combined in 2010.

    We are guaranteed a medal for either or (Would take sort of a meltdown from for both)

    Well the dream of a surprise pairs medal was nice while it lasted.

    Europeans need to remember that they are one market for the Olympics, not the only market... Because if we were to remove sports that are only popular in Europe we can do a lot of cuts in both the summer and winter games.

    Big air and aerials are genuinely more different from each other than downhill and slalom are.

    You would be very unpopular with free skiers and snowboarders (and fans who watch those events). The big criticism of big air from both is that it doesn’t reward variety and style enough, people would riot if you could win gold by repeating the same trick twice :P

    ? Did nobody tell Flora about this rule? Because to me this was a pretty clear strategy call to give up on gold in order to try to get bronze. But this has been the rule in FIS Big Air basically for ever and the athletes know it.
