    Comments from the NBC announcers: "this was like a video-game", "I don’t know where the sport goes from here". Amazing competition, but I also think this heralds that we need to change the format because this is getting into deep splitting hair territory.

    I don’t care that much right now, but the women’s team pursuit is gonna be in a deep rebuild next season xD

    I know this is true but it still feels unbelievable that had never won the men’s relay before xD

    With how results have shaken out, is guaranteed a playoff spot in women’s curling if they beat and (since now all teams that finish on three losses will be ranked fourth at worse).

    I do think winning the QF ended up being really important. Both and looked really tired in their respective final.

    We finally found a speed skating (long or short track) event where we can beat for gold :P

    Will be honest, I was not expecting this gold coming in to the games.

    What a capstone for this trio. Likely their last race together, and what a way to go out. I believe it is unprecedented for a TP team to repeat with the exact same skaters.

    Not a great race by Japan, but it’s enough for bronze. Would have been unfortunate for this team to be off the podium (because, with all due respect to the rest of the field, there is a big gap between the top three and the rest)

    Stolz isn’t the substitute for the men’s team pursuit at these games, it’s Conor McDermott-Mostowy.

    I’m cautiously optimistic about the team pursuit team defending their title. Finishing first in the QF helps a lot when there is a "big 3". I certainly have higher hopes than I did before the Olympics.

    Is cancelling a competition round due to weather urban, youthful and gender neutral?

    Still feeling like these aren't great Olympics for , but I think we are slowly but surely crawling out of disaster territory into slight disappointment territory.

    is slacking on the almost medal table over the past couple Olympics. Really out of character for us.
