  1. Why not medal?
  2. For me Julien Alfred it`s a fenomen. She train actually in USA?
  3. Julien Alfred!!!
  4. Good thing!
  5. Bravo Andy Diaz!
  6. Unfortunately, I don't remember that time:P In 1996 Italy was eliminated in the group stage by the Czech Republic and Germany and I started rooting for the Czechs. It's a shame about the final against Germany, because it was 1-0 to the Czech Republic and then that Golden Goal It's good that rule is gone. The Euro 2000 final: Italy-France, however, was still haunting me for many months afterward. The trauma was terrible It's good that it happened at the beginning of the summer holidays, because I wouldn't have been able to go to school normally after that. After three months, I somehow recovered. Another trauma for me was the 2005 Champions League final: Milan-Liverpool... Generally, I'd rather lose the final to someone 0-5, like Inter did recently, than after such emotional matches as in 2000 and 2005.
  7. Cosa sta succedendo? Prima Testa, ora Abbes?
  9. It was on 1997/1998 season? I`m a 38 years old and I remember that time. My first watched match in my life was the 1994 World Cup final: Bra-Ita, but I didn't know much about it too much :P. My first conscious tournament was the 1995/1996 Champions League and Euro 96: btw, back then Slovaks were rooting for the great Czech team? (I remember that the Czechs had such funny hairstyles, e.g. Nedved, Poborsky, etc.)
  10. Questo vale solo per il 2025?
  11. Do you remember Artmedia Petrzalka Bratislava?
  12. Fabbri has a chance without Crouser and Kovacs, but he needs to stabilize at last year's level. I'd be happy with 3-4 medals, like in 2023. Unfortunately, we're still not a powerhouse in Athletics and winning the European Team Cup won't change that. It seemed some years ago, that Athletics would soon overtake swimming, but that's not the case: swimming has rebuilt and Athletics is still at a similar level (without Tokio 2021 Olympics). Back to Stano: he has been injuried since 2022, always before the main events of the season. Unfortunately, in my opinion, this isn't a coincidence. Why is he preparing for top form in the spring when he has nothing important, but to suffer further injuries later?
  13. Do you know this new coach of Italy NT from Bulgaria?
  14. I'm starting to worry if we'll even win a medal? Fabbri isn't as consistent as last year... Iapichino and Furlani are a lottery: they could win or finish outside the top eight. Andy Diaz also had a long injury recovery. What do you think?
  15. Preoccupa anche la dorso donne dopo l'addio di Panziera...
  16. C-2 men shouldn't have lost to anyone else here except Russia. The level here was much lower than last year in Paris. All it took was a similar form then last yar and the qualifying rounds were optimistic. If I had a lot of money, I'd hire a foreign coach: Hungary, Poland, or Germany? Give him four years and expect results. The Italian coaching school hasn't been working for years (in the sense that if you want more than just one medal every four years on OG).
  18. Apparently, the Italian team coach said something in an interview on Rai that they didn't receive enough funding for preparations for these World Championships at home. Do you know anything? It's strange that someone applies to host the World Championships and then regret a bit of money on preparations just to win more medals
  21. We even could`t to build any strong team around Josefa Idem in k-2 and k-4, which should be a formality with such a star.
  22. We haven`t great individuals who win gold medals, like Idem (she was from West Germany). Paradoxically, it's a small miracle that Italy manages to win an Olympic medal on every four years in Olympics, considering that they win almost nothing in Olympic events at the World Championships, which are held annually.
  23. We won last gold in canoein in 2000... Josefa Idem in k-500. And in 2008 she lost minimal and won silver.
  24. Alessandra Mao! Can we remember this name
