Our worst result since 2011. I know there are big surprises here, but France and Serbia are winning Olympic and World Championship medals, so they can afford to lose here. And we? We haven't won anything since 2004. The problem isn't just Pozzecco, but also the federation – we have consistent success in the junior division, but we can't translate that to the senior division. Slovenia doesn't exist in the junior events, but then they beat us in the senior division because they have that one Doncic. Pozzecco was bad, but if Messina or Scariolo were here, he probably wouldn't have won much more than 1/4 finals, so another competition without medal.

Now the question is, will it be possible to recover properly for tomorrow? That's less than 24 hours.... We haven't played many matches here, but that might be a factor.
