In my opinion, even reaching the quarterfinals won't be a great success. In the last four editions, we finished in the 5th-8th place. Spero che la maggior parte dei finanziamenti di quest'anno vada agli sport invernali e che ci siano molte medaglie a Cortina 2026. Gli sport estivi rientrano nell'anno post-olimpico, quindi se così fosse, non mi dispiacerebbe. Ma naturalmente la situazione in alcune federazione sportive, come la FPI, sono molto preoccupante.

Il problema sembra più profondo: Testa, Carini e Abbes, i nostri migliori pugili, sono stati eliminati tutti contemporaneamente. A Parigi le cose sono andate male, ma almeno ci sono state molte qualificazioni e Testa e Abbes hanno vinto qualche medaglia ai Campionati del Mondo.
