Absolutely outstanding performance from women's team. I watched the second half of the game. Did really great job. Even though I am married to girl, I was cheering for Brazil because they have an outstanding team and played really well.

Because both teams - Perušič/Schweiner a Nausch/Hermannová have completely different program and travel to different tournaments. They don't meet often. If they trained together and everything, I would accept that .... But they don't train or compete together much.

After unnamed team member and beach volleyball player Ondřej Perušič, today tested positive the coach of the female beach volleyball pair and husband of Markéta Nausch Sluková - Simon Nausch. Third case in Czech team. What is the most disturbing is the fact that it seems that all three cases are not related at all....

Well, at some point, yes, it is decision on Japanese government, but also on the other hand, Japanese government must fully cooperate with IOC on this and be ready to make "exceptions" .... people work hard to get to Olympics for 2-3 years and then they test covid positive which might even be a fake positive? And might be the only chance to get to the Olympics? .....

Can't express how much I am sorry for Ondřej Perušič ..... On the other hand, it seems that IOC rules regarding covid are also kinda flexible. ...... In my opinion, they should make difference for ppl with and without vaccine as vaccinated ppl have much higher posibility to have fake positive test. He is vaccinated so he is surely gonna be tested every day. At least he can train outdoor even though it is without his partner. But they know each other well. I suppose the COC will do their best to make IOC allow Ondřej play if his negative in several consecutive days or postpone the game. My opinion? If you are vaccinated, your tests comes positive and later 3 or 4 consecutive days negative, you should be released from the quarantine...... 3 or 4 consecutive days negative should be enough proof of not being infectious or generally being negative......

There should be also 1 positive case of one athlete outside the village. Any info about that??

NOC just announced that one team member tested positive on covid 19 right after arrival. Was mentioned not athlete but one of the team staff, for now, not mentioned neither name nor position ...

Well, I have already been working with the scenario that Beijing 2022 will be postponed till 2023. My contacts from OC have not replied yet but volunteer page no available, tickets not released yet..... I am afraid they have already been working on this scenario..... So this NHL decision might be pointless if this counts for 2023...

Well, that's understandable. I just truly hope no politics or unfair behaviour will influence the covid tests in order to keep someone out of competition.....
