  7. https://olympic.ca/press/canadas-santiago-2023-shooting-team-announced/ Shooting team, only 14 athletes, the smallest shooting team I can remember for a PAG. All the top names are there except Michele Esercitato, who is the alternate (only one male pistol quota was earned). In fact his score is better than Ozer's so not sure how this makes sense. 8 out of the 9 top ranked shooters in Canada made the team.
  8. declined 2 shooting quotas
  9. Badminton:https://olympic.ca/press/ten-talented-canadian-badminton-players-named-to-santiago-2023-team/ No Michelle Li!
  10. Not 100% on this but I have heard FIBA is not supporting the basketball event (not sure why). Perhaps why both Canada and the USA withdrew. Which would also imply they did not enter the 3x3 events as well
  11. 6 in men's and 5 for women.
  12. Looks like no reallocations in AG, so sadly no Brazil declined a spot in men's trampoline, reallocated to
  13. https://athletics.ca/blog/2023/09/21/canadas-santiago-2023-athletics-team-announced/ Track team. A B team with 3 standout names. Sadly not in season for many.
  14. She injured her ankle in the first match of the event
  15. Sadly the eights is gone from the Pan Ams (at least in the traditional sense)
  16. Looks like got the last mens basketball quota
  17. No quotas for Canada today... our best wrestler got injured in her first match but still made it to the final 8
  18. Some Judo entries are being listed here: https://www.ijf.org/competition/2476/judoka_nations?nation=can Canada is sending its A/B team (the women are the best in their weight category, and so is El Nahas/Frascadore/Deshenes) The other 3 men are 2nd or 3rd best. David Popovici will be compete here (no not that one)
  19. Ok finally the results system is up https://info.hangzhou2022.cn/en/results/all-sports/competition-schedule.htm
  20. There are 27 pairs in men's beach volleyball and 20 in the women's event. IMO OCA should institute qualification criteria and/or limit sizes of some events.
  21. Bornan is doing the results here, and they have been good at all events in the past, so yea must be a OC/OCA issue
  22. What a horrible start, no results/entries etc.
