    Horigome had to place first at OQS Budapest to qualify for the Olympics. He did that, and now he’s here. Would be quite the story if he can defend his Olympic gold.

    Well it’s simple actually. Huh faked a lot of attacks, which led to her 3rd shido. Not sure why all the controversy… It was an ugly performance by all of the women in this weightclass, including Deguchi, and very bittersweet she only had one (?) throw during the entire competition (pretty sure) with a waza ari against Cysique in the semifinals that got retracted but well she won gold and that’s all that matters.
