Mayar Sherif was forced to retire from her 2nd Rd match due to injury and eventually she's going to be out for 2 months, really bad news for Egyptian Tennis

Looks like she picked up an ankle injury in R1 vs Kostyuk and WD before her R2 match. Clay season is over anyway save for the backdoor MMs but it's a tough outcome.

Schools would be a lot safer if every student aged 10 and above has at least a pistol next to their chairs and gets monthly shooting drills teaching how to aim and such. From 15 years old, of course the pistols will be replaced by or supplemented with full-size hunting rifles. Obviously the teacher gets an assault rifle and, needless to say, everyone will be wearing bulletproof vests and helmets (obviously) at any moment inside the school buildings.

Need more emojis or people will think you are serious here ;)

  3. It appears the next step for USA is allowing 13 year olds to carry weapons into school at this rate. GOP won't do anything about it and Democrats are too scared to strike down the 2nd Amendment so nothing will change anytime soon :coffee:

  4. @Federer91There is lack of teams for a "competition" to be held. Only 11 teams took part in WOG, take away China & Russia you have nine, including Switzerland which sometimes skips team events on purpose and USA which doesn't have four spots to enter in individual rounds anyway. And Finland didn't bother entering WOG and they have more problems with this sport overall. Italy & Kazakhstan don't appear to be interested and France lost interest many moons ago.

  5. Due to the World Cup in Qatar the new season will start on November 6th in Wisla and for the first time ever the competition will be held on plastic run-offs which is standard for the summer events. The season will close on April 2nd which makes it the longest ski jumping season ever. Pretty expendable in a sport where only 10 nations compete on a reasonable basis and some of them are semi-professional to say the very least.

Also :BUL Vladimir Zografski has moved to Poland full-time (his wife is Polish).

Rebecca Sramkova enters the MD as lucky loser after Rebecca Peterson WD. Sramkova lost to Linda Noskova in the last round of quals otherwise. She will be a total outsider vs Darya Kasatkina tomorrow.

In response to that literal question, not out of the blue. He also said this situation seems to be very unlikely and not at all expected (whereas Russia starting a war was far from unexpected considering their long buildup of troops).

More of a media thing to make a deal out of this, nothing less and nothing more really.

I wouldn't suspect CNN of click-baiting unless US media is really that garbage these days? :p

  8. I mean you can't blame Guardiola for pure results. 29 wins in 38 games is as good as it gets in the modern days. They finished 19 points ahead of Chelsea and 22  points ahead of Tottenham. The only problem was Liverpool was able to stay within a one-match distance until the last week.
