Wow so it's official! So wonderful! Our girls really worked so hard and they're all so young. 5 of the 8 girls are teenagers, so hopefully this is the beginning of many more qualifications in the future.

 

It was disappointing to not qualify in women's water polo, and our women's rhythmic gymnastics team 99% won't qualify for the first time since Atlanta 1996, so this is a very nice thing for our women to make it.

Still no precedent in this sport. It is simply impossible to gain more than one position during a single competition. And even that is extremely rare. 

 

I can only conclude that, aside from the iffy judging of course, there are also simply no risks involved. Everyone performs within their comfort zone and stays mistake-free.

I am disappointed with the results. I was expecting  to qualify. They had a very creative routine and deserved more.

Yes, the  routine was sooo good and creative, sad they didn't qualify, the deserved 90+ points in that free routine.
