I can't find anything about them being married. I did find an interesting interview about the beginning of their relationship and (mainly Gal's) struggle about their homosexual feelings.

Also, apparently they are (or at least were) both coached by the woman Gal had a relationship with for 13 years before that got broken off due to Mindenhout appearing  

 

According to this article from yesterday, both are looking likely to be selected for Tokyo. It also mentions Mindenhout as Gal's partner and not husband, so I guess they're not married.
