I think Dostal' s quota in k1 is given back and France needed only 1 quota to qualify k4, but now there are France' s quotas in k1 200 and k2 1000 that have to be given back, so in my opinion also Czech Republic and probably Italy  could qualify k4 men.

France most definitely didn't get K4 quota, even with that logic. Their K2 athlete were not part of K4.

Yes I thought one of his k2 athlete was over k4, but in theory with Dostal's quota back is what they need to fill the k4.

I am totally getting lost with this qualification system. It would have been easier to make as in track cycling, cluster events for qualification and select any of the chosen athletes for competition.

If I'm counting everything as the ICF will, these are the reallocations:
- K1 200 women - Hungary and Portugal

- K4 500 women - Russia, Denmark, Japan

- C2 500 women - Japan

- K4 500 men - France

- C2 1000 men - Czech Republic

As I have really nothing to do at the moment, I tried giving a chance to understand the qualification system and the realloation system, and this is what I think the results are:

Men's Kayak events:

Only :CZE has to reallocate a quota in K1 1000 and :BLR gets it

Women's Kayak events:

:NZL and :DEN reallocate a quota in K1 200 and :HUN and :POR get them, according to first rule of reallocation (K1 x K1)

:BLR (3 quotas), :FRA (2) :POL (2)  :UKR (2) and :NZL (1) reallocate a total of 10 quotas according to second rule, so :RUS and :DEN obtain a K4 quota, while :CHN obtains a K2 quota. As a consequence of this, :DEN loses its quota in K1 500 which goes to :SWE

Men's Canoe events:

:BRA loses its quota in C1 which goes to :BLR

Women's Canoe events:

:CHI loses its quota in C1 which goes to :POL

Spain has won 7 quotas, has to return 1

This is the questionable one, because we don't exactly know what "filling a C2 boat" means, and Czech Republic only needs one more quota to fill their C2 boat, because Martin Fuksa already has one from C1.

    • This is going to have an effect on very likely 0 athletes, possibly 1 or 2 we don't really know about yet. It's really mostly the cheapest possible way for them to make a sort of political statement, without having any significant backlash since it won't really affect anyone at the top level of international sports.   Edit: worded a bit wrong, I was thrown off by everywhere 'trans women' being mentioned as the target of this. Of course there is also the somewhat larger category of DSD and the likes, which will certainly affect a few athletes - unfortunately they are often thrown under the bus or mentioned as 'not really women anyway' or something like that, despite, you know, being.
    • Mary Rand has died aged 86. The first British woman to win a Gold in track and field at the 1964 Tokyo Games (where she also took home a further two medals in the Women’s 4x100m relay and Pentathlon).
    • Athing Mu competed in the USA trials in 2024 and 2025 post the 2023 rule changes. She also won Gold in 2022 and Bronze in 2023.    Jelimo the jury is out. She doesn’t look male like the other two do.
    • People focus on trans people because it's easier to pinpoint the affected athletes. Meanwhile it's the athletes with (suspected) DSDs that will have tougher time to convince the authorities and the public opinion that they belong to women's sports.
    • badminton queen Carolina Marin announced that she can't take part into the home Europeans in the upcoming weeks because of her injured knee and calls it a career 😭
    • yes, there are (or there was, at least) don't forget that the women's 800m had world and olympic champions like Semenya, Jelimo and Nyonsaba...basically, it was 10 years of DSD winners only the same Athing Mu was suspected to be DSD (never confirmed, but somehow she totally disappeared after Tokyo) then, there were the 2 girls from Namibia (1 won a medal over 200m in Tokyo) in Italy we have the living scandal Valentina Petrillo (a paralympian!!!), who's actually a real man not to mention the weightlifter from who took part into the Tokyo Games so, it's a real problem all around the globe, not just a US crusade against a few woke idiots
