Does anybody know what are those "adaptive" finals on sunday before the real ones?

If it’s the same terminology the X Games use, it’s a para-sport category.

So if  my counts are correct, we have the qualified skateboarders for Women's Park

1-Misugu Okamoto :JPN

2-Sakura Yosozumi :JPN

3-Sky Brown :GBR

4-Poppy Starr Olsen :AUS

5-Lizzie Armanto :FIN

6-Dora Varella :BRA

7-Isadora Rodrigues :BRA

8-Bryce Wettstein :USA

9-Brighton Zeuner :USA

10- Yndiara Asp :BRA

11- Julia Benedetti :ESP

12-Jordyn Barratt :USA (She will compete on the final and even if she gets the last position, she will overtake Mina Stess who is qualifying right now)

13- Lilly Stoeephasius :GER

14- Xin Zhang :CHN

15- Madeleine Larcheron :FRA

16- Amelia Brodka :POL

17- Josefina Tapia Varas :CHI

18- Bombette Martin :GBR

19- Melissa Williams :RSA

There's still one quota to be defined at final, among Mami Tezuka, Kokona Hiraki and Kisa Nakamura from :JPN

It's important bear in mind that this ranking will close only on June 31st. So, all NOCs may still organize national events and add points to the ranking (If they haven't added two national championships yet). So, in this case.... Bombette and Josefina still can lose this spot till there, maybe Amelia has a little bit of chance, but I dont believe on that.

@LarajaIs there any chance someone from :CAN qualifies?

Women's Park, no chances.

For Men's Park there are two guys, Adam Hopkins who didnt get good result today and probably won't make it.

And Andy Anderson who finished second on qualifier, a very nice result and he can conquer his spot tomorrow

For Street, only Annie Guglia at women's side. She has a small chance.

At Men's side, there are three guys with good chances, but probably 1 or 2 will get their quotas. Ryan Decenzo, Matt Berger and Micky Papa.

@LarajaI think that with Murilo and Hiroshi not qualifying for the semifinals, Pedro Barros and Pedro Quintas are guaranteed for Brazil, right?

Pedro Barros is guaranteed since when WS cancelled the Worlds.

Pedro Quintas not yet, because Pedro Carvalho (a lot of Pedros:d) qualified to semifinal. But Pedro Carvalho needs to win the competition and Quintas does not make the final... super hard

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
    • Today : Jordan 3-0 Egypt  This team will surprise us
    • option no.2 for sure, as it's been all this shitstorm organized by the nhl owners through their embedded reporters   ps not that the north american audience looks really aware of the hockey rules and habits outside the nhl (and around their game, too, since they look not to know that just a couple of weeks ago they played 2 nhl matches on an ice sheet of the exact same size of Milan's olympic arena)
    • Are we supposed to take Daly's word for it or is this just public posturing to try and shame the Milan organizers (which they certainly deserve for all the delays) in order to threaten NHL participation?
    • Well that was a disappointing opening ceremony. Not to mention the boss is late too...   Anyway this is another victim of bureaucracy, the initial creative director quit in October and we get this kind of show.   Original plan: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/17EVayTpig/
