Isn’t this akin state-sponsored doping like Russia’s?

Well, I don’t see His Highness Coe banning the entire US team, wether innocent or guilty, from competing because the obvious corruption of USATF

This is an absolute howler from USATF, rightly condemned, but Russiagate this isn't - it's the classic US terror of a court case - apparently Houlihan turned up with an order from a low divisional court which didn't understand the way sports admin works internationally. In attempting to bypass and frustrate CAS with a domestic court order, Houlihan is actually committing another offence. But I suspect she's past caring.

So, Houlihan said she hasn't heard of nandrolone before. Now I know she is lying 100%.

I'm not a pro athlete and I've heard about nandrolone for years. Linford Christie, Merlene Ottey and Dieter Baumann were all busted for nandrolone among others :coffee:

I was 10 and I had already heard of nandrolone thanks to Edgar Davids :d

I did come across an article from 2001, headlined 'Nobody is so stupid as to take nandrolone on purpose' :p

Did Athing Mu skip the 400 meters at the US Trials? I can’t find her name in the results page for the event.

Yes, that is correct.  She is only running the 800 meters at the Trials.

Crazy, Ingebrigtsen might really win Olympic gold ...

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

@OlympicsFan I can't see a foul in this WR throw.

Some Polish athletes didn't see it, either. But maybe we've missed something.

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
