Same question for swimming as for gymnastics (among others), I don't think there is an actual detailed time schedule available anywhere? For European championships we usually get something like this:

2mvwp1D.png

Which is rather useful in planning what to watch, but for the Olympics so far all I see is some general schedule that says the whole session is from xx.xx until yy.yy and events X, Y and Z are in the session. That's not nearly as good, hence I'm looking for something like we have at European championships.

I believe that we will have an update about it in a few days

Tokyo schedule on totallympics.com has all the details you need (at least finals and semis).

Someone has done a really good job here.

And detailed swimming schedule is attached to this post (finals and semis). Files like that were available here some time ago as well.

Hi, I believe this link will help you a lot :) But sadly, no detailed schedule for swimming preliminaries is available (my guess is FINA has no clue about the number of heats)

Thank you! For the heats, like you said, it's not different, but for the final/semifinal sessions that is exactly what I was looking for

Out of simple curiousity, where did you find those times? Both IOC and FINA didn't seem to have them anywhere :d

A while ago it was one of the NOCs that had published pdfs with these times on their website and I also think those files appeared on this forum. But now I can't find them anymore online ?

So your federation basically nominated as many athletes as possible? Completely different strategy compared to some their countries like Japan, France, GB or Germany. Germany for example didn’t even nominate everyone with A standard.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

    • fencingtv.com   now it's all there (needs registration, but for now it's free of charge, so it's still OK)
    • many athletes didn't get their visa 2  Schengen , canada , usa ...do it all the time  it's a new strategy to increase the chance of medals
    • Four  (Duguma, Berha, Kalayu, Siyoum) got denied visas even though they competed in Toruń in Febraury  Must be some Schengen visa rules crap?
    • Yep, I actually think this Schwaller team is only just getting better every single year, and there’s not many viable options at third and fourth in the Swiss women’s curling scene, there’s only some good but not great players.   If Paetz and Tirinzoni both retire before the next quadrennial (likely for Tirinzoni, she said at the end of last year that the recent GSOC event would be her last) then Berset-Witschonke-Howald-Hurlimann is the best you can do and I don’t think the firepower is there. If Paetz keeps going, and it’s Witschoke-Howald-Hurlimann-Paetz then it’ll be interesting, but it’s also hard to predict.
    • The Canucks have started their tank this season and now we’re awful, so I’ll only be watching when the playoffs start  at least we get a guaranteed top 3 pick, but even that probably won’t go our way.   Fencing WC’s are interesting yep, if I can find a stream and if our top fencers are competing or make it to the R16 or further.    Speaking of basketball, I forgot about NBA
