China Jiang Huihua is out but Hou Zhihui is still not sure for Olympics yet.

can you guess those 4 weights China will participate ? I mean women's competition.

Jiang had a crazy 125kg attempt in her last CJ try. desperate try to catch up with her teammate , obviously she failed . I think she was capable of lifting 120-122 to take back her WR again.

Maybe I can predict after the ACH since I actually have no idea about their capability right now. But Hou Zhihui is not safe even with the WR since she lost to India in CJ and we don't know her potential is in snatch. It's somehow like a gamble but China wants 100% certainty in Women's weightlifting.

It won't be 49kg

87(Expect Kang Yue to smash the WR) ,  +87 they'll 100% send

55,64 good but North Korea withdrawing opens the door to Zhang Wangli in 76 too.

No it's not. Chinese have 15-40 kg lead in all events. Only 49kg it's less. And India won the CJ that's a gamble that won't be taken

Mirabai will beat the Chinese if they enter in 49kg .already beaten them in clean and jerk will beat them in snatch if they come in 49kg . Chanu is lifting over 93 in practice, yesterday was not good in snatch but came back strongly in clean and jerk and create the new WR .

so will be good for china to avoid 49kg otherwise they have to settle with Silver .we are waiting

    • I used public transit the entire time I was in Milan.   My first day was a doozy, because I had to two flights to reach Malpensa, and then the train into town was delayed, and then I got confused a station and boarded a tram instead of the metro, proceeded to travel in the wrong direction, got off, walked back to the station, found the metro, got off a station early, walked around a kilometer to my hotel, and checked in.   My colleagues mostly took cabs upon arrival, but I deduced to take the frugal approach. That said, I was a true public transit professional by the time I left Milan.   I actually enjoyed my rides to and from venues, because I'd just chat up fans and volunteers from different countries. It helped me learn more about the city too.
    • It's the olympics, sleep is for the weak!    The first day i got there i was on a 12 hour flight from l.a to rome (flight that left mid day), lay over, another flight to milan, uber to hotel, then right away to speed skating (1500m men), then after uber to hockey venue for women's gold final, then after the celebrations uber to the hotel, i ended up being awake about 36 hours that day, the next morning i thought to go sightseeing in the center of milan, but ended up sleeping until like 2pm..... and had speed skating/short track that night
    • I tried to get onto the metro multiple times and gave up    I had just arrived the day of from Bangkok (12 hr flight) and was just exhausted and wanted to sleep
    • Plus, you missed out on a potential metro ride with me, which is quite priceless in my opinion
    • My hotel was very close to Rho so was easy to get there, but it was so far from the hockey venue that after the women's gold medal match it was so expensive to get back, and also the next day after the usa slovakia semis it took forever, the asshole driver took the city and not the freeway
    • Uber cost me $224 CAD to get back to the hotel from the OC. It basically prevented me from buying tickets to a speed skating session
    • Romania's national team coach, Mircea Lucescu, has died half an hour ago He was in hospital since March 30th, just before the friendly match against Slovakia. Unbelievable how the life can have such turns...in March 26th he was in Istanbul playing the WC qualifying play-off vs Turkiye and now he died.    Thank you very much for every moments you bring us in your huge career (he's on 3rd place in a most trophies won in career, after Ferguson and Guardiola) and may your soul rest in peace, Mr. Lucescu.
