Mir was nowhere all weekend and he's probably gonna finish on the podium

He made a great second half of the race, but going wide on the final turn cost him the podium, just eaten on the straight..

If Miller wants to be a contender he needs to change his strategy or tactics. He is always super fast at the starts of every race and by 6-7 laps to go, he is pushed the bike too much and gets passed with ease, if he manages to finish at all..

If he hasn't learned tyre management by now, it's too late for him IMO. Vinales used to be (still is tbh) the opposite, struggle early on colder tires and then forced to make up the lost ground in the second half of the race.

Pedro Acosta wins Doha Moto3 race from pitlane start. I'd say this kid needs to be taken seriously!

John McPhee got an exhaust pipe in the face moment instead.

Acosta's GP career so far: 2nd and a win from pitlane, serious indeed :d (and of course he had already shown very, very impressive stuff before entering the GP's, but being at the top this fast is something else)

I wonder if McPhee gets some sort of penalty for his response, can't imagine Dorna is much of a kicking fan :p

Lowes won the second race in the Moto2 as well, Gardner made a mistake in the last corner which cost him a chance to take the win.

MotoGP now with the satellite (Pramac) Ducati's on front row :cheer:

    • What about Day 2 though? Were the markings correct that day? Because I am still blown away by Mawdsley’s 48.34     I am guessing though it was mainly only affecting the first leg runners?
    • well, those splits were actually suspect   now we know they weren't reliable at all
    • Stories emerging that on Day 1, the track was wrongly marked.  Specifically the start marks for Lane 3 on the 4x400m meant that runners were running short distance.  Don't know what is going to be done, but presumably WA must stand by the results, although any records set will be scrubbed.
    • Had privilege to see  loosing to  live in the arena! Amazing Swedish team!
    • There are things I find pathetic, but saying a competition is unnecessary right after you don't qualify for it is the typical display of a loser. Pietro Maschio, when Conegliano qualifies for the Club World Cup next time, should refuse to participate like the Polish clubs do and stop spouting nonsense.
    • The biggest surprise is that Ranefur (rank 70) won over LSD!
    • Never wanted something to be more wrong then I did now... synchronized skating and no ice cross    And of course we'll probably win the gold medal in it because it's a sport that I hate, the same thing happened with "breaking" aka breakdancing in 2024.
    • No surprise — it’s the result of months of controversy, including media backlash. It all started with the federation’s decision not to select Romei, who is very close to Costantini, for the Olympic Games, and to call up Rebecca Mariani instead. In recent months, the Romeo/Costantini duo allegedly tried to push out Lo Deserto as well, and these are the results…
