Miller wins and now we enter the Ducati-friendly tracks again.

 

Maybe Zarco can finally win at Mugello though I fancy Bagnaia to be in the mix more.

So yeah, Viñales screwed his career over. He has been withdrawn from this week's race in Austria due to potentially damaging behaviour with his bike during last week's race. https://www.crash.net

Horrible crash in Moto3 qualifying today, where Jason Dupasquier crashed off his bike and got hit head-on by Ayumu Sasaki, who could in no way have avoided him. Apparently Jeremy Alcoba was involved as well, he and Sasaki walked away, sort of, but Dupasquier is in critical condition..

Talk about bad luck. Dupasquier is one rider that NEVER crashes in Moto3. He finished all 15 races last season and was 5/5 this season too. And now something like this?

Yep...comes at the worst moment and place, right where someone coming up from behind could just not avoid him.

 

Meanwhile, he apparently won't receive surgery yet, but not for a good reason at all: doctors' judgement is that his situation is too critical to perform a surgery now, he isn't stable enough for the surgery to be done responsibly right now.

I'm sure this will be dealth with by the way, but I sincerely hope Sasaki gets some serious psychological help today (I'm assuming he'll be getting that since the crash already). It was not his fault at all, but especially for a 20-year old this can mess you up big time.

      What about Day 2 though? Were the markings correct that day? Because I am still blown away by Mawdsley’s 48.34     I am guessing though it was mainly only affecting the first leg runners?

      Stories emerging that on Day 1, the track was wrongly marked.  Specifically the start marks for Lane 3 on the 4x400m meant that runners were running short distance.  Don't know what is going to be done, but presumably WA must stand by the results, although any records set will be scrubbed.

      There are things I find pathetic, but saying a competition is unnecessary right after you don't qualify for it is the typical display of a loser. Pietro Maschio, when Conegliano qualifies for the Club World Cup next time, should refuse to participate like the Polish clubs do and stop spouting nonsense.

      Never wanted something to be more wrong then I did now... synchronized skating and no ice cross    And of course we'll probably win the gold medal in it because it's a sport that I hate, the same thing happened with "breaking" aka breakdancing in 2024.
