That's not how it works at WC. This crash happened on a straightaway so it was obvious that there should be no consequences.

I know, but that's the thing that is wrong, not this one  

 

And they went in there rather high speed, I honestly see no problem in waiting a minute until it's clear they're ok.

Nope

 

Although I am still definitely behind my bet on them to win, odds of 501 (!) for gold for Won were just absolutely insane.

Well, that's an improvement from last year's Worlds, when they were 4.08 behind after 2 runs.

 

Four-man is their better event though.

A competition that can so easily be won by Brazil, with all of their bright colours, yet the outfits of the Australians are more Brazilian than the Brazilian ones

Although it's not as annoyingly bad as in the cross-country skiing and biathlon, where the federation outright refuses to give them actual Brazilian-coloured clothes instead of some standard white stuff with a tiny green hint somewhere hidden away.
