Not to forget the gold level event where our federation didn't send him, The World Junior Championships in Fiji, at least he should have been sent.

I don't think it would have been practical for him to take part in so many events in the cycle. It was basically one of the two: Either World Junior Championships or Commonwealth Championships. Federation must have thought it would be better to keep him with the senior team. Hence, I think he will participate in Asian Juniors only if he has a horrible Worlds, otherwise he would skip them as well.

If you see the rankings it's about the points you get. So even if you are 25th best or so participating in more gold and silver level events can fetch you in top 8 easily. :evil:

No it's not about points you get. Only 4 best results are considered.

Best results in 3 periods and one next best performance is considered.
