good debut for Kakhelashvili for the Italian team...

after basically more than 2 years of inactivity he won a good Bronze Medal at the Polish Open...

after losing his 1st bout against the US guy Tracy Gangelo Hancock* with the close score of 3-2, he took the scalp of the Russia Maksim Safarian in the repechage round, then finally he did benefit from Aleksanyan's withdrawal in the Bronze Medal bout...

*Hancock who then just destryed everybody else he faced in this tournament, included the great Artur Aleksanyan :yikes: who was beaten in their semifinal match by pin/fall and then didn't show up for the Bronze Medal match against "our" new Georgian-born wrestler...

According to the Korean Wrestling Federation, "Since the UWW President vowed support, we expect to have a positive result." Well that doesn't say much really. The President of UWW can say what ever he wants, he hasn't formally promised anything, yet. But he is a business man, so if North Korea and South Korea are willing to give "an extra contribution" to Lalovic... I mean UWW, anything could be possible.
