I agree. It's sad that IOC decide the remove one of the best exciting event...

Much sadder that they remove K2-1000 and C2-1000... Really nonsense

Well, Harrison was the favorite? So no real surprise.

Tough 4th place for Borowska. Let's hope women's K4 avenges that.

A bit of a lift after the 4x100 and 110 hurdles.

Yeah but I assume sprint canoeing is totally invisible in USA anyway? :p

Correct.  The race wasn’t on live TV here, US tv was focused on the hurdles. It’s possible it was on a secondary channel.  The thing is though, neither of Greg Barton’s races in 1988 were shown live either.

No matter what happens with K2 and K4, the fact that we went from the 0 medals of men's kayak in Rio to 2 gold and 1 silver of Tokyo in the individual events is unbelievable, perfect outcome for us in these events.

Great race from Csipes, this was definitely Carrington's hardest fight at these Games.

And we are collecting the 4th places even here, two 4th places today.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
