Italian MARCO ROSSI is the new coach of Hungary Men's National Team.

Former Budapest Honvéd coach (won title 2016/17), this season finish 3rd in Slovakia, with DAC Dunajská Streda.

There also a deal between Hungarian federation and the club that He´ll coach DAC in the Europa League. (ofc no one expect more than 1 or 2 preliminary rounds though).

Not really surprised to see this coming, As I already repeated it many times this club has enormous support of the Hungarian minority in the country. Their "ultras" fans are known as radical anti-Slovaks, the big games against other major SVK clubs (especially Slovan Bratislava) are always held under huge police maneuvers with stupid and childish nationalistic bullshits from both sides..and the club is relatively regularly followed also in Hungary, some of their matches are also broadcasted in HUN TV, our Hugarian friends in the forum will surely agree with me that because of that there no surprise that the work of Rossi (which was really good and quite spectacular considering the level of this club) was noticed by the Hungarian federation.

A good move I would say.

AC MILAN is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition

The Adjudicatory Chamber of the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB), has taken a decision in the case of the club AC Milan that had been referred to it by the CFCB Chief Investigator for the breach of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations, in particular the break-even requirement.

The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next two (2) seasons (i.e. one competition in 2018/19 or 2019/20, subject to qualification).

AC Milan will appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) agaist this decision.

If CAS will confirm the exclusion for next EUL, Fiorentina will play the 2nd qualifying round and Atalanta will be switch in Group Stage (instead  of AC Milan)

Nah, you must understand that in SVK the local football is followed mainly by classical Hooligans and extreme right supporters,

The municipality of Bratislava-New City, the area where the Stadium is located forbade the execution of this match in it´s territory, on the recommendation of the Regional Directorate of the Slovak Police Forces because at the same time is scheduled the biggest SVK Hip-Hop festival not far from the stadium.

    • It's an interesting question, Norway is certainly expanding their efforts into a number of new sports. So, that cannot help but to peal off a few more natural athletes. I know their training methods are kinda rocking the world in a number of summer endurance sports.  I can't really speak to they dynamics of their development program. Their men's nordic programs largely always seem to be ridiculously deep, overwhelmingly so the last decade or so.

    • But it seems to us that Norway wasn't as strong in Lillehammer 1994 as it was later? And not just in women's events. Generally, until 2000, Norway was much weaker in women's biathlon and women`s cross-country skiing. I remember in the 1990s, Italy's biggest rivals, Belmondo and di Centa, were Russia, when Norway somewhere further back and only in the classic style. Bente Martinsen- Skari, this is their first really strong girl in cross country, just about 2000, just like Liv Grete Skielbreid- Pioree in women`s biathlon at similar times.   Do you think, that is there any hope that thanks to the popularity of Haaland and football in general in Norway in recent years, winter sports such as biathlon or cross-country skiing will lose a little bit, becouse that?

    • This suggestion  @Dnl  made some months ago has also been implemented.   In each club, I have added a "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" record which takes the content from the Qualification by Nation tracker of that NOC.   People who see it can not edit the content, but it will be automatically updated once @Matej will update the record, and if you notice any mistake feel free to report it to Matej or in the record itself.   Club's admins can now edit the name of the section into their own language or change the spelling, I have used "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" for all the clubs. To do so, go inside the section, then click on "Manage Club"-"Edit this database Record" and change the name of the section:     By the way, if you are not a club's admin but you would like to edit things inside the club just let me know and I will give you the rights to do so. There can be more "admins" inside the club with the rights to edit and organize the sections, and that's not a role that require time or commitment.   Let's try to make all the clubs active during MiCo and when the LA28 qualifications will start!
