Michel Mulder is the reigning Olympic champion, he had all kinds of problems ever since Sochi and never got close to that form anymore.

His brother Ronald Mulder kept his level and improved, and now destroyed the field.

so, now I guess that De Jong and Wust don't have to be worried anymore...they can fly together to Korea (not that there was any doubt even before today's race...but still)...

and looking forward to the next races, among the girls there's a chance that all the slots from 1000m to 5000m & MS would be covered by just 6/7 skaters, so to allow also the 500m specialists to have a real shot at the qualification...

among the guys...Ronald Mulder...just "wow!"
