Team Jacobs win this years Brier, defeating Team Dunstone 5-3. Undefeated in round robin, lost the page 1/2 qualifier, then ratted off four straight wins for the title. Jacobs with his first Brier title in 12 years. -

Coincidentally today I overheard Kevin Bolger talk with someone about it, they were all pretty disappointed at seeing the tiny start list today and felt they should speak with the athletes about whether or not they actually wanted a 50k. I also heard him talk about the insane noise around the track yesterday, he said it felt like his ears were popping constantly and that Maja Dahlqvist's first words to him this morning were "I'm scared"
