Hasilla pulled a Kaukenas. Classic.

yeah, real heartbreak. was so close of his careers absolute result and money funding for the whole sport.

but it is how it is, everything in this sport is about the head obviously, he knew very well the situation and that he was so close of our mens team best result since I don´t know the extinction of dinosaurs or so, and that what happened at the last shooting

Yeah, I think athletes from bigger nations are more successful in these stressful shooting conditions, because they mostly only have to think about disappointing themselves and not the pressure of disappointing an entire nation and future funding of the sport.

The amount of times that Kaukėnas and other Lithuanians have dropped the ball in shooting 4, I can no longer count.

France and Belarus not competing for a medal today, just namesake participation wish they weren't allowed to participate at all.

@Fly_like_a_don Not to change the subject here, but how is the Indian Biathlon Federation doing?  I know that they seem to have fits and starts trying to get going.  Any luck recently with anything?

Add them too. Anyhow they were starting last but few positions so already it's low morale so fine.

There are multiple organization claiming to be a the main federation. It's not recognized by Sports Ministry.

We had the national winter games this year ofc no biathlon since we don't have range and may not build any anytime soon.

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
