Rules say the referee needs to see it with the naked eye though. Once those rules are changed (sensors in the shoes, cameras, whatnot), the athletes will adapt to that.

Using tv or stream to judge walkers is against the spirit of the sport  It'd be like using electronic scoring in epee instead of waiting for the fencers to admit they have been touched.
