Because that is correct. Those vapor shoes will eventually get banned. The swimming suits were banned so quickly because Michael Phelps was openly agianst them back then.

 

Btw, does anyone else find the meter gaps on screen annoying? I know it can be measured but there's absolutely no point in having this on screen all the time. Just another useless gimmick. It's totally irrelevant there's a 50m gap after four minutes of 10,000 race

Athletics has a graphic too much, can we please take it and add it to the shooting which is entirely unwatcheable because of a lack of graphics?

Oh well, in Londen 2012 the Netherlands had zero realistic hopes in athletics and now there's potential for 4, including gold (and it's not like athletics had some sort of huge funding increase as far as I know). You never know how it goes through the years
