Really ... ? I though he was a marathon runner ...

400 m hurdles is more of a mid-distance event thanks to the hurdles, unlike the 400 m flat. I should have said mid-distance/long-distance, so thanks for the correction. Of course i remember him competing at the 2015 junior european championships in both the decathlon and the 400 m at the same time and winning silver in both events.

Warholm is more a sprinter than a mid-distance runner ... 10.52 is way better than 4'44

No, the reason why Germany isn't competitive in ice hockey or curling surely isn't that everyone else is doping. You are really multo agressivo lately to be honest. :mumble:

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

So here come my favorite races by far...

I hope Riitta-Liisa Roponen get a decent top 10 result. That, in combination with a relay medal, would be absolutely perfect ending of her career. :)

Speaking about the exotic nations, it won't be as exciting as the men's race, but there are several points of interest:

  • :MNE Marija Bulatovic will be the first Montenegrin XC skier of any gender at the Olympics.
  • :ISL Elsa Gudrun Jonsdottir, :THA Karen Chanloung and :CHI Claudia Salcedo will become the first women from their nations to take part in an Olympic XC competition. Chanloung is also the first Thai XC skier of any gender since 2006.
  • :ARG Maria Cecilia Dominguez will be the first Argentine female XC skier competing since 1992.
  • :PRK Ri Yong-Gum will be the first North Korean overall XC skier competing since 1992, and the first woman to race over 10km distance since 1964.

Good luck to all! :cheer:

This list should also have had the first athlete who competes at any Olympics as partner of a Totallympics user, but noooo.

So, let's go, all those on your list :d

The Appellant argues that the FIL unlawfully deprived the IFL of a qualifying place for the 2026 OWG by failing to allocate a remaining qualification place and unlawfully allocating qualification places to athletes granted Individual Neutral Athlete (AIN) status.   The ILF requests that CAS declare a failure to allocate them a qualifying place in violation of the FIL Qualification System.
