Minor changes in the Quarterfinals schedule...

 

The last QF game Greece-Slovakia has been moved from 20:00 local time to 2 PM and will be played as the first quarterfinal session match and will be replaced in the late evening by the Netherlands vs Kazakhstan encounter

 

14:00  :GRE - :SVK  and 20:00  :NED - :KAZ

Watch from 3:07:00 to 3:08:20 and 3:17:00 to 3:19:30. Crazy emotions. I don't want a repeat of this on Saturday :cry:

 

I remember watching this when it happened and I always have painful memories from this game.

 

And our legend and former FINA World Player of the Year Alexandra Asimaki at 3:20:57. So heartbreaking to see her like that. But this is why we love sport, there are good moments and bad moments.

      That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
