hckošice 14,758 Posted December 7, 2023 #91 Share Posted December 7, 2023 (edited) The participation of the NHL players is not at all clear. After the meeting of the board of NHL club governors, the commissioner of the NHL our beloved oberfuhrer Garry Dollar declared that he could imagine alternating NHL players at the Olympic Games with the World Cup organized by NHL They already presented the idea to host the next World Cup. It will be a World Cup. With 4 nations competing I swear it is true ! https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/38946563/sources-nhl-looks-put-four-nation-tournament-2025 Canada and USA playing 2 games in Ameeerika and Sweden and Finland playing also 2 matches in the respective countries, with the Two winners playing the Gold Medal game in Kaaaanada. Absolutely briliant idea ! but I would rather remove both Sweden and Finland from the competition, maybe also USA since it is too much countries for a World Cup But yeah, back to more important and more time worth thing. NHLers at the Olympics. Bettman about the question if he will let his players to Milano.Answered that the Italians did not even start to build the Hockey arena for the Olympics and I do not believe they will build and open it at time, so what you want ? https://sport.aktuality.sk/hokej/clanok/ucast-hracov-nhl-na-olympiade-taliani-ani-nemaju-stadion-bettman-si-vie-predstavit-alternativu-2023120613421292917 Edited December 7, 2023 by hckošice mrv86, intoronto, maestro and 1 other

Dragon 1,832 Posted December 8, 2023 #94 Share Posted December 8, 2023 Breaking news. Lake Placid has put forth an offer to host sliding sports for the 2026 Winter Olympics, which are scheduled to take place in Italy, where organizers are struggling to provide a venue for bobsled, luge and skeleton racing. The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee announced the bid after its quarterly meeting Thursday, only two days after the chief of the Milan-Cortina Games said it is possible the hosts could come up with a new proposal to build a track.
