On the bright side, she was attending the Swedish sports gala and talking with people (which is better than early 2017 when she could barely say "hmmm"). But yeah, it's sad when the good news is that someone can hold her own glass of champagne..(which she did, to my surprise).

To be honnest I think it’s a miracle she isn’t in a vegetative state, that accident was very nearly fatal. Glad to hear she is improving.

What a ridiculous sport, after every second run someone has to be flown to the hospital ...

Yeah, thank you TV directors for putting a camera right on top of a skier who's laying there without any kind of movement. We really need that.

So many favorites out already, 3 of them being injured as well, it really is a crazy track as they described it.

Are they planning on reducing the jumps or putting women on a different track, cause that might not end well

Although women probably don't jump that high/far..

Paul Eckert won the last world cup before the olympics, now he didn't even make it to the round of last 16. This perfectly sums up the olympics for Germany. Worst possible outcome in almost every event, surprised that some german athletes even managed to get to Pyeongchang, wouldn't have been surprised to hear that some forgot where the olympics take place and accidentally flew to Thailand or something like that ...

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
