Wow all of Canada's medals are won by women (one by a mixed team).

 

I think 2020 is going to be a breakout year for Canada. Most medals ever perhaps? (Then again with all the new events, this might be the case for some other nations)

We are pretty dang far from the total from LA.

 

Looking at golds and even ignoring '84 we need eight to have an all time high. That's pretty tough.

For that 2017 version rankings (women's boxing, golf etc) or world cup finals (shooting)could have been added.

Golf is added through rankings. Women's Boxing, Shooting and some other sports will have world championships in 2018 so no events are added in 2017.
