This connection with Torgersen (a genuinely nice guy, who taught them so, so much) is also why I was so much hoping for Poland to medal in the women's relay, since the switched to the Polish women's team last summer

4 golds for Sweden in biathlon and alpine skiing ... one of the biggest overperformances in olympic history for sure. The fact that they train under very windy conditions in Östersund surely helped today, in the end they won it at the shooting range. Sad that both races were heavily influenced by the conditions, thats not what you would hope for athletes who trained very hard for 4 years. Anyway ... Pichler seems to be doing a lot of good things over there, considering where swedish biathlon was only a couple of years ago. I think with the retirement of Gerald Hönig, it would be the perfect time to bring Pichler home, Germany really needs him.

Nastya Kuzmina attended yesterday our Ice Hockey National Championship match Banská Bystrica - Dukla Trenčín and that feeling when the whole stadium start to chant "NASTYA !!! NASTYA !!!" and "Ďakujeme ! Ďakujeme !" Thank you ! Thank you !
