Apparently the day didn't start very good for Peiffer ... first his rifle broke, so he had to switch it and then he fell down the stairs or something and hurt his elbow ...

Mark Kirchner apparently "predicted" the gold for Peiffer ... before the race he said that since Peiffer became world champion in 2011, everyone else (Schempp, Doll and Lesser) all won an individual gold, so it was time for Peiffer to again win something + he told Peiffer that when he (Kirchner) became world champion in 1991 he also had the BIB 22, like Peiffer today.

Funnily enough, I actually predicted a bronze medal for Dominik Windisch. It's just that I predicted it to be the mass start Why did he have to go and betray me like that

Always refreshing to see new athletes on the podium, the joy of winning your first olympic medal probably can't be compared to anything else in sport.

I feel incredibly sorry for eberhard. Not only did he miss the bronze medal by 0.7 seconds he also had a broken stick in the 2nd lap.
