Japan's below average performance here is also a surprise, risking elimination vs :DOM in the next match. Before the tournament I thought they could be second in group behind Serbia. Didn't really expect South Korea to qualify for QF but they earned it.

Very disappointed with the Italian women. They played the decisive game for the bracket (against an already eliminated China) as if it was a friendly, all smiling despite the mistakes and the heavy loss. The coach will have a lot to answer for if they don't reach the final.

They'll reach SF regardless. But I can see a tough match if Serbia is the opponent.

Honestly, of the four teams in the other group, ROC is the easiest.

 

I think if we can't beat them then we don't deserve a medal.
