Can't tell you about all the obscure events in the earliest of Olympic Games but I'll do as you wish.

Which event for men existed between

the 1936 and 1956 Summer Olympics?

  A: Individual cutlass fencing           B: Greco-roman wrestling -250kg
  C: Double skeet shooting    D: Canoeing C-2 10,000m

.... and I can see that Pavel Kharin and Gratsian Botev were the last Olympic champions in the C-2 10000m :d

I would like to use my 50:50 :p

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

And also, if I survive this question, I'm requesting a roughly 15-20 minute personal break to quickly take care of something :d

It's more of a feeling than really a bit of knowledge, but I'm going for C. Somehow I think it's related to the heart..

The systole is the pumping phase of the heart.

The diastole is the phase where blood goes from the veins back to the heart.

Your guess is correct!
