Worst night of slovak football history. "Chicken brains" embarassed the country. Derby soiled by primitives..

For Greece this would be just your average Sunday, these things happen all the time in our league

Okay maybe not every week but 3-4 times per year I'd say.

and there still more and more new information coming. New identified members of "ultras" groups from other :POL clubs Ruch Chorzow and Krakow and :CZE Brno. Apparently it was an organized action !

Insane.

some sources speak of a planned action between several "ultras" groups. they were originally supposed to meet and fight somewhere in an abandoned meadow or something like that. in the end they chenged decision and decided to fight right during the match because our laws are completely benevolent and backward (no real experiences with hooliganism), so when they can't do it at home, they came to fight in Slovakia. Insane.

our parliament has already met and is resolving the situation by changing the law. the football federation and the disciplinary commission will meet and try to find  new safety rules tomorrow.

@hckošice Yellow & green balaclava should be GKS Katowice indeed. They have a hools agreement with Banik Ostrava for years.

Ruch Chorzów & Wisla Krakow have a friendship here, Austria Vienna is their international agreement so it seems like two rivalling groups visited Slovakia there :p

Btw, Dusan Kuciak equalled the most Ekstraklasa appearances for a foreign player today (276).

Great, so our police is in the right track...

Anyway, they could rather go to visit the Tatras and jump together from a hill hands in hands ..

Well, Ruch Chorzów is my club after all. I live ca. 20 kms from their stadium. They are the most successful Polish club in history and were first champions in the 1930s. GKS Katowice and Gornik Zabrze were founded only after WWII and are viewed as "lesser" teams in the region

    • Sinner probably won't play in another edition of the Davis Cup. That shouldn't come as a surprise. Next season, Wimbledon and maybe Paris should be the goal.
    • No, our epee was good always, we have Shemyakina, who was Olympic Champion in 2012, Reizlin with bronze in 2020, medalists of Worlds like Kryvytska (who is our finisher today), Svichkar (who is our finisher in men's side) and Stankevych, European champion Kharkova, medals in other conpetitions from men's team epee who were one of the main contenders in Tokyo, but unfortunately failed to take a medal.

    • Until recently, Ukrainian fencing was just Kharlan and sabre. Maybe epee sometimes. I don't remember them ever was strong in foil. There was a time when Russia, Romania and Poland were strong in foil at that time when Italy dominated but I don't remember Ukraine anymore.   Hungarian women with Aida Mahomed were too strong for many years.
