Dutch media reports that Jelinkova has qualified for the Olympics. :cheer:

Adriana will be the second female Dutch skier at the Olympics in history, with Margriet Prajoux-Bouma being the first one in 1952.

Good, it would be frankly scandalous if the Dutch NOC did not select her.

Kilde ACL out for season.

Pinturault has probably been going to a gypsy teller. Unbelievable luck. After being Hirscher's slapping boy for years, he is finally going to get the Globe against no one.

Well they didn't select Marvin van Heek for Sochi after his 8th place finish at the Val Gardena downhill, where a top-8 finish in a World Cup was required...so you never know :p

(he had some luck with the weather, as these things go in outdoor sports sometimes, and so the race was not counted as 'representative')

Petra is either suddenly totally out of shape or completely gassed (which I am more inclined to believe). All in all her current form is one huge disappointment and unworthy of her level, aiming the big globe was not the best idea,

the only positive thing is she will probably learn from it this season and next (more important) season she will hopefully focus only on her best events

But not surprising. Just ask Marvin van Heek.

EDIT: Already mentioned above lol

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places.
