Jur 590 Posted June 1, 2016 #332 Share Posted June 1, 2016 Just read on twitter thet the boxing federation just acepted profesional boxers to compite in Rio 2016. Is that true? How are they going to do that, just three months ahead for Rio. Are they going to cut the preolimpic?

heywoodu 13,663 Posted June 1, 2016 #340 Share Posted June 1, 2016 Horrible decision... Obviously pro boxers should be allowed to compete in the Olympics, because it's a joke that there is still a sport where pro's simply can't compete. But this is way too fast...they should have implemented this for 2020, for all kinds of reasons...fairness, safety, and so on. If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
