German boxing federation announced that they will try to get a wildcard for Sarah Scheurich (womens -75 kg). What are her chances?

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Germany can’t get the tripartite quota since it isn’t a tripartite nation, but should the quota not be allocated the reallocation rule is a bit vague. The rule says it would go to the next highest ranked athlete from the AOB, but the women’s events don’t have an AOB tournament. The most logical way to do this is to give it to the athlete whom finishes fifth at the world championship. With that said IMO it doesn’t look good for Germany.

everytime the home nation is kazakhstan.......kazakhstan win a lot of medals. In this case 6 medals on ten events, and one more pass in 75kg.then almaty 2013 men's world championship, kaz gained 8 medals on ten events...(in the next championship just 2 on 10 events)...is this just coincidens?

Of course not, the local has a big jury advantage.

    • Unfortunate, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm looking forward to Thursday evening, when the team captain's meeting is over and we have our very first World Cup start list of the season. Always a cool moment to see who's there and everything
    • Today I unpacked some of the boxes in which we have put my way too many books to move to our house, and I came across these beauty's I hadn't seen for a while     Absolutely recommended, tough to get for a decent price, but they are such an interesting read with lots of very interesting little stories! Still looking for at least 1900, 1904 and 1906, but not really in the right moment to spend money on that now, so the wait goes on
    • Which I guess is part of why unfortunately 'our' first wild card attempt of the season was rejected last week
